On October 31st and on its darkest hour,
We call upon the Ancient Power
We call the spirits we think of as dear,
We call upon them to join us near.
Kids are trick or treating and wearing a mask,
To trick or treat?
Their hardest task.
As the witches’ hour comes at hand
With all their glory, and power buried in the sand,
Coming to bless our holy land.
Celebrating another year that came
Continuing with our traditions all the same.
A little bit of horror, and a little bit of joy,
We see a goddess join us-
It is Helen of Troy.
Her unmatched beauty throwing us in a state of trance,
Mesmerized, we watch,
as she performs her Halloween dance.
Suddenly, all of the Halloween spirits are starting to fade,
Another holiday has passed by,
The special day we love to be afraid.
