5 February 2025 │ Love Poem

One magical night
The Sun 🌞 and the Moon 🌙 collided🌒,
The Moon shined brightly in the opposite direction
Making the Moon easily misguided.
Blinded by its beauty, the Sun wasn’t perceptive
And failed to realize
The Moon’s🌙 nature was very deceptive.
Twenty-three full years it had at the time,
Twenty-three years just like mine.
The Sun was young and full of dreams,
Once again, oblivious to the Moon’s schemes.
The darkside of the Moon eventually overshadowed the Sun,
Leaving it in darkness with all its sunrays gone.
Feeling like a pawn,
Defeated and broken,
The Sun took a step back in order to respawn.
It hid from the world
Leaving it in gloom,
And found a safe space where it could start to bloom.
Four years had passed
Now the Sun was twenty-three,
It rose up for the first time again
With a warmth of a new degree.
Although, once trapped, the Sun showed to Thee
That its inner light was so bright
It set itself free.
